I wholeheartedly believe in the power of the human spirit to grow, heal, and bloom. I am drawn to somatic and compassion-based approaches, as well as emotion-focused, feminist, and expressive arts therapies. I blend approaches and interventions to create a therapy that is tailored to your needs and style. I work with the whole person, tending to the mind, body, heart, and soul.
I understand the courage and strength it takes to bring your vulnerabilities to therapy, and I will create a warm, caring, and accepting space for you to share your experiences and emotions. I am comfortable working with individuals and couples of all gender identities and sexual orientations, and I work from a social justice lens to encourage empowerment and promote agency.

Hello!
I was born and raised in Nelson, and I moved to Kimberley in 2021 with my partner and puppy where we live on the unceded ancestral lands of the Ktunaxa. In 2022, I graduated with my masters in counselling psychology from City University in Vancouver, and I’m delighted to continue my counselling journey with you as a registered clinical counsellor!
At 17, I was diagnosed with a serious and at times debilitating autoimmune disease. My health challenges led me on a journey of self-exploration and I discovered the power of the mind-body connection. I learned how feelings of shame, worthlessness, and despair feasted on my body, and how feelings of peace, joy, and worthiness strengthened my resilience and ability to heal. I still suffer from pain and fatigue and it is my lifelong journey to treat myself with care, compassion, and tenderness, and I bring that same approach to my counselling practice.
Before counselling, I worked in other fields, yet it was always connecting with people that filled me up and inspired me the most. I have worked with people from ages 1 to 102! I was a dance instructor for many years where I taught students of all ages. I revelled in the magic and wonder of working with the very young and my adolescent students taught me about courage, tenacity, and dreaming big. In my work as an end-of-life companion in assisted living and complex care facilities, I was endlessly moved by the joy found in simple pleasures, the power of connection, and the beauty of the human spirit.
In my spare time, I love exploring the outdoors and napping on the couch with my dog (and best friend), Juniper. I sing in a choir and I’m learning how to horseback ride and play the ukulele. I love getting together with my beautiful community of friends for a delicious meal, a big laugh, and a good cry.
